Markeet Fight :: Motorola Atrix 4G Vs Iphone4

Motorola-ATRIX-4G.jpg
Motorola has managed to come up with a very good concept. Its essentially a very powerful phone, which can be converted into a PC or a netbook. This will provide a serious competition to the iPhone4 and also provide a single device which can double up as a PC or a netbook.

It has two docks which are optional accessories

* The Motorola HD Multimedia Dock has three USB ports and an HDMI port enabling connections to a keyboard, mouse, speakers and HDMI-compatible monitor for working at your desk/office, or connecting to an HDMI-compatible television and home theater audio system for interacting with content and enjoying video, music, games and more in your living room.

The Motorola Laptop Dock has an incredibly thin design with an 11.6-inch screen, full keyboard, stereo speakers, 36Wh three-cell battery that delivers up to eight hours of battery life and weighs just 2.4 pounds. Users simply dock their Motorola ATRIX 4G into the back of the Laptop Dock to turn it into an active, connected machine to experience true mobility at work, home and playing on-the-go in a form factor that

LOL..having to carry both my iP4 and Atrix daily, 1 key thing that keeps me from carrying my atrix only is VPN!!!!..and not the basic vpn provided through android, but Cisco VPN, a group based vpn, shared secret etc.. doesnt work on the Atrix. Besides that the Atrix is a winner in my book , where else will you find a phone with 1GB of RAM, 16GB Onboard and 32GB MicroSD option and plus the ability to dock your phone and turn it into a PC. not on the EVO, nor ip4, nor thunderbolt. Atrix is in a league of its own for now. :D

The iphone is a legendary handset. like Apple or not, you gotta give them their slice of the pie.

I just bought the Atrix as my first ever android OS device. I like the android OS so much that I don't think I'm going back to using iphones even if the iphone 5 had a quad-core CPU. I still recommend the iphone 4 to some people I know because it's suits their needs and their technical level (of course beside it being a premium quality smartphone) .

What every Atrix vs. Iphone/Android vs iOS will always fail to do is show how each device will be utilized by a lot of users all with different taste and preference.

The fact that last year's iPhone 4 is even holding its own against the brand new dual core Atrix is a testament how well designed iPhones really are - look at their resale value. The Atrix should really be compared to the upcoming iPhone 5 in 10 weeks - which probably will have a dual core chip.

i am thinking about next Motorola Atrix 5G :D

Atrix owns iPhone in EVERYTHING, except reliablility, call quality, and FFC. There are two sides.
1) Apple noobs who dont have time and/or knowledge to do anything with their phone
2) Android nerds who love being able to do ANYTHING on their phone without being limited by a noob OS like iOS.

Personally I enjoy getting a phone with defects just so I can fix em and learn along the way. (im an engineer :p)

you'll have to forgive my skepticism. your last cut-and-paste from motorolaatrixforum.com had a lot of very incorrect information in it. I honestly wish you wouldn't quote posts from that source. Seriously, this isn't even a race. When I was showing off my new toy at work I've actually seen crestfallen expressions openly worn on the faces of my i4 owner co-workers this week for gods sake lol.

I've had an iPhone 3GS and my last phone was a Blackberry Curve 3G. The iPhone was great until I broke the screen, but instead of fixing it, I sold it on Ebay and made more than I bought it for.

The Blackberry was absolutely terrible. I hate Blackberry, will never go back.

Now, I have the Atrix and absolutely love it. I love the Android OS and it just seems like it is getting better and better with the updates.
