I had a Sprint Hero for about a month (little less) and then a Moto Droid for the same time. When I got the N1 yesterday and I signed in with my gmail account and it said it was synching my info and I thought that was my email and contacts but it also installed all of the apps I had installed on my Droid and it even put the background picture for wallpaper which is not a standard wallpaper. Today I opened the Finance app and figured I would have to input my portfolio info but no all of my stocks are listed. I am extremely impressed. I dont feel the need for any backup apps.

Ok. How did you get it to do that?

When you set up phone for the first time it asks you if you want to backup on Google.com. You have to select yes. Once the first setup is done Im not sure how to enable that if you didnt at first. Must be somewhere in settings. I also think this is a 2.0 option only, so it saved my Droid apps and settings and transferred to N1. It also saved my bookmarks! The amazing thing to me again was the wallpaper it setup from a picture I downloaded on Droid.
