I wasn't going to bite...but here it goes.
1) Size - you knew this going in, but wow, it's big. Luckily, it's still very pocketable, but coming to grips (literally) with the device in hand still takes some getting used to. it makes the Incredible look/feel like kate moss.
2) Screen - I was expecting something as good as the Incredible. Instead, it's marginally better than the Droid screens - very washed out, low contrast, and for mine, a green-ish tint. Only a disappointment because we know HTC is capable of better
2a) Screen Resolution - you'd think that with 4.3" they'd take advantage of more resolution with the same dpi as the Incredible/Nexus 1. But no. Now I have the large-print-for-the-blind edition phone.
3) Battery - ok, you knew this going in as well - so far, similar to the Incredible, if not incrementally better.
4) Charging port - on the same side as the kickstand. which brings us to...
5) Kickstand - or more like how it covers the speakers. Yes, tiny speakers suck. we don't need to cripple them any more by covering them
6) Lack of optical trackpad - less of a necessity using the sense keyboard, but I prefer swype and having the arrow keys burried in swype makes it more annoying.
7) No Landscape sense (yet) - Not sure how I would like this anyway, but thought this was coming.
All in all, most of these (except the top 3) are very minor gripes, so the speed increases very much wash out these gripes. Size, it might just take some getting used to, battery life - i'm already used to recharging mid-day anyway, and screen, well, unless HTC/VZW releases some sort of gamma correction software, I might just have to bite the bullet on this one.
But on the flip side...
(un)expected bonuses/improvements/likes -
1) Speed. This should really be 1, 2, 3, all the way down to 47...it's not just network speeds (where i'm getting upwards 25-30 mbit down), but even application/processing speed. Who needs dual core when you already have no lag in software? Not to mention, with battery lives how they are now, I don't need help draining my battery any faster
2) 32 GB microSD card preinstalled - that alone could "justify" the higher price tag. It just makes life that much easier
3) Notification LED in the speaker grill - a nice touch.
4) Camera lens flush with the back - just makes more sense
5) Kickstand - placement over the speaker and relative to the charging port withstanding, it's a great little feature
6) Front Camera - haven't really taken advantage of this yet, but being able to impromptu vchat with the kids during work/lunch is something that i'm looking forward to
7) Sense 2.0 Software updates - app switcher in the notification panel, fast boot, etc - ok, so these aren't really TB-specific upgrades, but still, a nice touch.
