Root Android 3.0

I saw an unstable version of Honeycomb on xda with a lot of stuff not working. I don't know if anyone is still working on it but they did have it running on the Evo.

Nice:) well, im glad that someones workin on cracking it at least.... what do they do, view the source code, and tweak it from orig parameters to EVO parameters hopin they dont crash with the mods? Not to trivialize what the DEVs do, im just tryin to get my head wrapped around this :)

I'm not sure how that is going on because the source code hasn't been released for honeycomb to my knowledge. Pretty sure they don't intend to release source code for 3.0. Something about not meant for phones they rushed it out. It'll make a phone shitty. Sounds like you'll have to wait for 3.1. Just a rumor from Bloomberg though...

Read pages 34 and 35 of that thread. The effort seems dead...

well, i suppose thats all well and good. The DEVs roms are satisfactory(actually, thats a pretty large understatement) and if CM7 keeps metamorphasizing as it has(along with other roms), then i guess its a moot point:) anyhow, as always, the help and info is very appreciated :D
