Root Flashed VirusROM and lost root?

Just flashed VirusROM and when I try to use rom manager or any other program that requires root, it stats I don't have superuser, even terminal emulator. What gives? I can't even restore an older backup through rom manager so I'm lost.
what happens if you power down, then boot into bootloader?(power on+vol down) are you still S-OFF?

from there select recovery. what do you see?

once again, this is a good reason folks should not use rom manager. you might try deleting it,then redownloading it from the market and see if it starts working.

one last thing... if you open superuser app, does it list the root apps you have? if it does,do they have a red - or green +? try changing any - to + and see if things start working.

one thing that i am reasonably certain of,is that virus rom did not take your root away ;)

i flashed that as well

assuming that the answers that follow indicate the SU is not working,if he is still able to get to clockwork then we should have him flash this and see if things start working again.

and after you get your phone working correctly again,i strongly suggest not using rom manager until you are comfortable making backups, doing wipes, and flashing roms in recovery. IMO its alot safer, but if you still feel the need to use rom manager after learing the "recovery method" then at least youll be doing it with a knowledge of how to fix things when they go wrong. :)

I was unable to boot into clockworkmod recovery, of course I had tried that before making a post lol. I had rom manager in my superuser permissions turned on. really weird. anyways, i just went through easy root until i had a basic rooted system with superuser and restored my perfect storm backup.
