Ok, new Android and it's out of my technical league.

If I can just play with it some, I know I can learn.

I need help just giving me a step by step to download and use any particular app. Something cool and free to start.

Can you help or point me to a sticky that will walk me through it?

You will need to be sync'ed with a google account.

Open your app drawer, usually the center button on the dock bar. find the market app (shopping bag with green android on it) and click that. Click on the magnifying glass in the upper right hand corner and type in a subject or app name like "angry birds" or "weatherbug".

When the app you want is listed, click on that and you can get a description as well as read user reviews. Click install to install it, or back to search again. To use the app, open the app drawer and click its icon. If you want it on your home screen, open the app drawer, and long-press the icon. when it jumps back to the hom screen drop it anywhere there is room.

Thanks again. From your post I just did in 2 minutes what I was trying to
do for the last hour.
