Saw this over at XDA...anyone using this?
AppBrain Android market | tegrak overclock

I'm running 1.2 ghz right now, the phone seems zippier and I get a decent Quadrant and Nenamark score again.

I'll report back with any issues and battery life.

Can't hurt to try it haha

Results after a day of using 1.15:
1.2 was too much to handle for my phone. Screen wouldn't turn back on after sleeping for a certain period of time.
Battery life is still really good running the EC10 kernel on EB01.
Still really fast..similar to the old oc kernels we had for 2.1.

How's it running?

I was pretty skeptical using this at first but this is probably the best combination for battery life and performance I've had yet :p

Unplugged my phone at about 12:20pm yesterday, hours of music running, texting, and it still had 56% at 3:00am lol
I went about 36 hours on the battery under normal use for me. Prior stock froyo kernels were not near that figure. And that was the first charge after the batt stats reset so the second might be even a tad better. Im tempted to try imnuts uber UV but there seems to be some issues. Besides if I can get a full day out of the kernel thats all I care for. The extra 20% clockspeed on the top is a bonus for me.

UV/OC locked up on me when viewing my photo gallery. SV/OC was perfect, and I was liking it a lot. And then I rebooted my phone and.....LOCK. Couldn't get past the boot.

I hope they get tweaked and I can try some more because I was enjoying the OC. Back to ComaVolt for me (waiting for the imnuts kernel issues to get worked out).

Edit: And to make my post relate back to the topic...maybe I'll run this app at 1.1 on top of comavolt...

Yeah I mean we are just what on Day 3 of the Kernels release and there is always some growing pains. It might take a couple weeks before we find absolute stability across the boards. Also as we speculated prior to getting the kernels, what worked with eclair might not work with froyo in terms of OC and UV levels. But by and large if your phone didnt handle OC or UV well with eclair it probably still doesnt.

Bottom Line it is a great start by the guys and with a few more revisions Im sure we will have it down to where there is something for everyone.
