Root strange screen when rebooting from recover

Ok,
I can't get a screen shot but every time I reboot from RA Recovery I get strange colors on the black screen before my Rom Boots, it changes from time to time and makes me think something is corrupt on my phone.

I've been flash happy but always do full wipe when changing roms, sometimes just cache/dalvick when updating roms. All my Roms get laggy after sometime and many FC's. Even if I flash back to my stock ROM it crawls worse than ever, is there something I can do to clean my system up?

I wish i could get a screen shot of this but I've been too lazy to use another camera to take a picture of it.

It might not matter but I've not been able to get a quadrant score over 1000 in a long time, even by overclocking.

This happen to anyone else?

Last ROM i flashed was MUI, and I did the wipe-all zip, still same results.

Truely appreciate any helpful advice.

Thanks for the quick reply,

yes Calkulins format all, didn't do user/data/factory reset, cache/dalvik since I read the format all does that anyway.

I am using stock MUI 1.3.25 kernel 2.6.37.5-Tiamat_Evo-V3.3.2-sbc+Danieal@desktop #2. I've also tried, Zalvagen in the past, maybe i'll give that a try see if it gets better.

It works fine 75% of the time, it's that 25% that really bug me. And all the FC's..

It does im just anal. Are you usingn clockwork or amon ra? You are on MIUI rom? Lots of people have MIUI kernel issues so that didnt help lol. On MIUI i hear ziggy kernel is working well.

Is there a side-effect to flashing many ROMS? Does any of that stay hidden on the phone somehow?

The only side effect i can think of is that your nand has a limited number of flashes, a health if you will, it will die one day. Who knows how many flashes that is, probably 100000 who knows, im sure thats not the issue here.

However many people have had issues with clockwork not actually wiping what it tells you it wiped, We dont seem to have this problem on RA and therefore suggest you use Amon Ra 2.3 recovery.

I just flashed SavagenZen-2.0 CFS-HAVS-Wimax-GB-noSBC+ still slowish.

I'm about to go back to CM7 but I was having some similar issues before with it maybe not as bad.

^^^

I only overclocked to run a quandrant to see how it scored, I keep it at stock speed 998ghz and smartass on no profiles

Are you switching back and forth between the 2 or are you running CWM 3.0.0.5?

No I only have CM on there to go back to my 1st flash ever. I use RA all the time, maybe I'll update to 2.3 from 2.2.

I wouldnt bother upgrading yet, Amon ra should we wiping, 2.2 or 2.3. I cant remember the entire changelog but i dont think 2.2.2. to 2.3 was drastic. we'll try that if we cant figure this out.

Does 2.2.1 back up wimax keys? I thought that was one of the big things with 2.3 but I might be wrong.

Edit: It started backing them up in 1.8
