ok, this been going on for a few days now, and just wondering if anyone is encountering the same issue... If i tap the back of my phone or if i lay it down and it bumps the back of the phone, it reboots...ok now my wife phone does the same about a day ago, any suggestion? i was about to take it back to the corp office, i might will but just curios!!!!

Nothing like that here, just a suggestion. If the two of you d/l anything in common recently,I'd start looking from that point in time.Otherwise,I'm in agreement w/you in taking the phone back to the point of purchase, being having a phone constantly re-booting would be a PITA to say the least.

it sounds like a loose battery connection.

an app wouldnt do that, i use go launcher (literally wrote the tut on it) never had that happen. had a nokia that did that once and a razr too. both times the battery pins had gotten "soft", easy to push, and tapping or dropping the phone made them loose contact for a moment, causing reboot.

i'm cheep and can solder so i just fixed my phones with a tiny drop of solder at the highest point of the contact arches. worked beautifully.

not to nebraska i dont.

just asked a repair man. he said you can buy conductive paint (used to fix rear window defrosters) and paint it on with a nail polish brush. you should only need maybe a two hair thickness, one or two coats, just be sure not to cross connectors.

'Twas a joke. I'm not having that problem fortunately.
