Accessories What case are you picking up?

I'm debating on getting a case. I've got a Neoprene sleeve arriving tomorrow what will probably be slightly oversized, if use it at all (it only cost me $4.14). But, I think I'd like to get a folio style case of some sort. Something that has a cover. I'm considering the following and anything y'all can suggest.

Well, I decided to pull the trigger. I bought the second leather case I had listed. It's got a heck of long wait time before it'll be delivered (6-10 days). I did this because:

• I like the look of it more.
• It's half the price of the other one.
• And honestly, the other one appears pretty loose/flimsy on all the user posted pictures.
• Most of all, I like the clip that holds it closed.

Hopefully, it'll work out. I'll report back, ASAP.

I just got a ZooGue case yesterday and had to return it. You can squeeze the Xoom into it, but the case warps at the sides and it fits so tight, it is impossible to access the power button on the back. I was so disappointed because it really is a very nice case. It's just a smidge too small.

I'm looking for something that acts as a portfolio, a stand, and can strap to a headrest in a vehicle.

EDITED: I discovered that I ordered the wrong case! ZooGue does actually have a XOOM specific case with the appropriate cut-outs for the device. I ordered it straight off their website for $49.99 and used the promo code ZGRAFOL28 to get a $4.99 discount, which pretty much gave me free shipping. Can't wait to receive it! The one I received really was a well manufactured, professional looking case... too bad it was for the iPad. *gasp*

Yep, placed my order yesterday afternoon, about 4:00pm and it shipped this morning. Have you received your, yet? It says it's being delivered by Royal Mail, so I'm taking that to mean it's coming from the UK. I suppose that would help to explain the 6-10 day listing. The funny thing is that when you actually select shipping options, 3-5 days was the only option. I had assumed it would take a few days to leave the factory (limited quantities) and then add in the 3-5 for transit. Wondering if I'll actually have it in 3-5 or still 6-10.

Anyway, can you please post when you actually receive it? TIA!

Should fit perfectly, the Boxwave I bought was just too big (8 x 12).

I do too, but when I want to type.. I don't want to constantly stretch my thumbs, use one finger, or turn it to portrait to type like it's a giant smartphone.

Bought this gel case from Amazon. It is much thinner and slicker than the Motorola case. Now the gripe is so much better holding the xoom without feeling it sliding off my hand

The porfolio case is actually, those day planner I bought at Office Depot. I took out the spin. Now the xoom is slug fit. Also it looks great carrying it around.

Heres that hardcover case w/ stand I was talking about, I love it.. I don't think im going to drop 100$ for the otterbox anymore. This case for 12$ is AWESOME.

I love that the stand is on the inside and can be adjusted to any angle you need since its a velcro piece (never gonna break! u just stick it at whatever angle u need)


*just so you know, the velcro piece is very secure, its super tight and the xoom doesn't move. I use it sitting in that case 24/7.

Not a fan of stands on the back considering u most likely need a flat /hard surface or else it's a pia to type, thats why I got this one.

I got my zoogue ipad 2 case in, and I should be getting my xoom case very soon...... hopefully today? lol Will update with a video once I get it in.

I am so torn on what I want for a case...

Has anyone gone to target or even an apple store (gasp) to see how well the Xoom fits in an ipad case?

There are so many options out there...I have to imagine one of them fits it decently. I would just feel better seeing my xoom in a case before buying it.



Also, I like LunchBB's idea of taking the innards out of a regular planner/folio and using that as a case. Combined with his silicone cover, it's a nice combo.

There are a lot that are available but I want a tight fit.

This is the one I have. I have the same type for my phone too. I like it. It wont' add any bulkiness to the xoom.

yes the lunchBB folio/gel kit ;-) looks llike a good fit. i have to carry other items so i had to opt for a leather folio case and a carry case for the keyboard and other knick knacks..
