I don't get the uproar. Killing dogs is not worse than killing humans, and there are about a billion games where you kill humans.

I don't know I can think of more people I wouldn't mind not having to deal with any more than dogs.

On the other hand this is a game, who cares who or what you are killing? You could be playing skeet shooting with babies or pin the tail on the donkey with a picture of Paris Hilton and hypodermic needles and who would care, it is a game, it isn't really hurting anyone.

Michael Vick...too funny. Has that always been your forum name?

Textbook example of nimrods and lowering of standards. No big deal. Thats life. The truth hurts.

interesting quote from someone w/ an OJ pic...

The game appears to be taking off, the shoutbox in the game went from a couple posts an hour to 3 or 4 every minute...it includes some cool game concepts...

The Training Games are simple but cool hand speed/coordination...I had two of the top scores early, but I can't believe some of the high scores getting posted now....some of these dudes must have rediculous hand speed, unless they have some way of cheating...

For the fighting, everybody is going head to head w/ everyone else...still trying to figure out the strategy, as there is little info online....I'm sure it will start to become apparent, but still don't know how Cred and forming "alliances" works but it's kind of cool to see it happen from the very beginning. Game is changing constantly...Is anybody else playing and figured out any strategies or how to unlocked the Run Training Game?!?!

Thanks,

Banksy

I agree, GTA is also vile. I don't enjoy video games that graphically depict killing anything, call me crazy. However, animals depend on humans and trust us to take care of them, not abuse them. Yes, human life is much more important than animal life overall, but there's something really despicable about abusing a creature that wants your love and doesn't understand why you abuse it. Same goes for child abuse.

And killing pigs, or monkeys AKA Angry Birds, is somehow more palatable?

Angry Birds is a silly cartoon game where birds launch themselves at pigs with a catapult, where as dog wars is an apparently lifelike simulation of a sick 'sport' where dogs rip each other to shreds to satisfy the greed and bloodlust of mindless thugs.

If you think there's any comparison, you're an idiot.

:D

Idiots open their mouths without having the facts. There is no life like simulations of dogs tearing each other up.

The game is not in my taste but I found it funny how people jumped all over it and proclaimed moral superiority over those who play it. Killing shit is killing shit, because it's animated or caricatured doesn't change the fact that it's killing shit.

You cannot even compare the two games. Rediculous.

Angry Birds: You shoot a cartoon bird out of a slingshot while he says "wheeeee!" and if he hits a cartoon pig the pig disappears.

Dog Wars: Take a mild mannered dog with no intention of harming anyone and abuse it until it becomes a killing machine. If the cops try to stop you (because it's illegal), shoot them.

Edit: There is blood in Dog Wars. You cannot compare the violence in Dog Wars with the "violence" in Angry Birds.
