Hi all,
I am considering between inspire and atrix. I am now using a hTC tattoo and like hTC sense very much, more over, I am from taiwan, so I would like to support the company from my country.

My issue is now, does any one think the ring volume is too small? if so, is there any way to redeem?

Thanx

Hi AC,

thanx for help. if I use zedge, can I still use mp3 file as ringtone, or I have to use the ringtone from zedge?
You would still get mp3 files from Zedge and use them normally. It seems that whomever encodes the ringtones, increases the volume when doing so. A lot of programs will allow you to do this, pump up the volume!!!! :D

There are pros and cons to both phones, but don't make your final choice based on the volume level of the RINGER. There are more important points to consider.

I disagree. The phone isn't much use if you can't hear it ring or notify. ;)

Zedge didn't work for me, the notification sounds were only marginally louder. As a last resort, I'm going to try and edit my ring tone and notification in Audacity.

I just bought a desire H.D. I have always been a blackberry user but the wife talked me into this phone. I see some things I like and.some I dont.

For instance ................

I could assign I particular tone for each contact when calling me or texting or mailing or mms.
So far I don't see those options on this phone. I can only assign a ring tone to each contact and nothing more. And when your married that sux.

Also the ringed volume is absolutely terrible. I own my own auto repair shop and it gets noisy. If the phone rings I can't hear it. And i have downloaded all the supposed ".loud " ring tones.

I have seen a few things I do like but the dislikes I just listed are.major to me.

If anyone here knows how to make it work better for me please let me know. O

If you're rooted, try installing a custom rom or two. Several of the developers of custom roms state upfront that one of the features of their rom is "20% louder volume" or words to that effect. In essence, the ring volume can be a product of the rom you're using and switching roms may solve that problem.
