Help Android EXTREMELY Unstable

Ok, I have been very VERY pleased with my android phone in the last 3 months of owning it, but all of sudden it cannot be trusted and is a ocmplete letdown.

Last Saturday the phone rebooted itself while using Google Ny Tracks, this detroying my logged GPS track.

A fair few niggles in the last 7 days but today really takes the biscuit....

At 10am this morning my phone resorted to the default ringtone and rung only twice, as I picked up the phone it stopped ringing and I looked and had not network coverage for anything at all - so I rebooted. Got an ear bashing for "cutting" someone off as they thought I had but all only it was the phone just playing up.

This evening I was awaiting a text and around the time it was supposed to arrive I quickly checked my phone to find that it said the stock messaging had crashed and I needed to force close it. Again, the person who sent the text had a go at me for not replying.

so, I cant trust the phone!

Yesterday morning I needed to reboot the phone and as soon as it started up I got an error saying that google needed to force close.

Now please note.... I have not messed with this phone or rooted or modded or rom'd it or anything and have only market apps on it and so am VErY annoyed at this current run of problems.

Has anyone any ideas at all please as I am very disappointed with Androids operating system now and cant trust my phone to do even the simplest of tasks.

You can try to do a factory reset of the phone, of course this will mean any data and Downloaded apps will be gone.

If that doesn't work try a hard reset.

Also you can update your phone, if it's not already.

Lastly, try a ROM.

But I have used an app called SystemInfo to check my internal phone memory and there is 17.1% free which equates to 29m available and so I would have thought that was plenty to keep the phone running smooth?

As for my CPU load of 600MHz, it runs at about 375MHz but does spike up to the full 600MHZ when a text comes through which does surprise me.

How can I reduce my CPU load?

The spikes are normal, because the CPU it's not running always at a certain speed all the time. It uses what it's called a "governor", your's is set at "on demand", whereas something that needs more speed to be processed makes the CPU to work faster, thus spiking to 600 from the 365 when it's idling.

About the phone memory i do notice some lag when the internal memory is low.
