So I got my phone on launch date here in Canada (March 17) and have kept the phone in a case the entire time... never dropped it or anything that would damage the phone.. i decided to take the phone out of the case today and noticed when i press on the right side of the battery cover it makes a squeaky noise.. very annoying.. anyone else experiencing this issue?... anyone know where i can buy a new battery cover?

I don't think they all do this because mine never did when I first bought it and had it without a case.. it's not a little crackling noise, the entire right side squeaks loudly when pressing on it.. for a phone such as the Atrix I highly doubt they all do this
Mine squeaks like a little mouse if I press correctly. I went to 6 differen Bell and Co stores to test the model phones there and they all squak like little mice with lots of pressing.

I managed to find a work around.. took a glue stick and ran it against the inside of the battery cover along the edge.. no more squeaking
Come again? You glued the back cover to the phone? Or you let the glue dry?? lol I wonder how warranty works with Motorola. When I called HTC, complaining that my back cover for my Nexus One creaked loudly, they sent me a replacement cover for free.

I took the back cover off and took a gluestick and just ran it along the inside edge of the battery cover on the right side.. I figured that when I put the cover on a part of it isn't clicking into place right with the phone.. I used to have the same problems on my BlackBerry's, a gluestick always did the trick
