I agree with what everyone has said here, but I will throw a little balance into the mix. These phones come locked down for a reason. If you don't read, read, read and cover your bases, there is great potential to break things. Can you brick the phone doing something wrong? Yes. Are you likely to end up in an unrecoverable situation? Not likely. But the potential is still there, and it's very easy to accidentally lose everything, and have to start over. Just be careful. I'm not saying this to discourage you. I'm just saying this so that you understand that once you have root, you have the ability to do anything on the phone, which is great, but that also means you can break things. That being said, to understand this responsibility, you're better off if you root it yourself. If you have someone do it for you, it would be like someone taking your drivers test for you, then handing you the keys to a car, and expecting you to know how to drive. Just read and ask questions whenever you need to. We're all more than willing to help.
