I had a really nice mod for LeeDroid that gave me a coloured circle with percentage in numbers in the Status bar and changed the wifi symbol as well as the network bars.

I did try it on GV just for a laugh... but lets just say it was messy ;)
hehe

So anyone know where I can get something like that for Gingervillian because I do miss it?

lol its not that bad, heres a quick quide to make a battery mod only the rest is the same basically...

1. Go to battery, click use this mod then click on the battery mod you want and then click "generate preview" you must do the preview or it wont allow you to cook it.

2. Go to "File Upload" and choose out of the "Kitchens List" the ROM you are using.

3. Go to "Summary" and click "Submit work to kitchen"

4. after about a minute or so of the bar going up and down a download link will appear once its finished being made. Then click download.

5. Put the downloaded file onto the root of your SD Card and flash it from recovery jsut as you would a ROM.

6. Restart the device :)

Just remember you have to click the "Generate Preview" Button and you have to select your ROM from the "File Upload" Menu. If you do that you will be fine.

Hope that helps.

As I'm running Insertcoin 2.0 at the mo, UOT kitchen only lists upto 1.9.
Will it blow up in my face if I use it?
Not that it's unusual that ROMs blow up in my face ;)

Yes it will. You have to flash based on the correct version. It modifies the framework-res.apk which is different in each version usually. It flashes system/framework/framework-res.apk and replaces the one in your rom.

The kitchen does allow you to take your framework-res from your rom, upload it and cook the theme as normal by the way.

Luckily the kitchen is running slower than a three legged camel at the mo so didn't get round to doing it.

Phew... thanks for the warning, that would have been about the third ROM I've blown up in two days haha :)
