This is really disappointing and frustrating.
It's unacceptable for a company to advertise a feature set that just plainly does not exist. It's even worse that when you contact them, they provide a stock standard response (obviously a copy and paste, highlighting the frequency of the enquiries of this nature) which effectively fails to commit to any resolution. For them to say that they are working on it as a priority is a blatant lie. They have been stating this line since November 2010.
The reality is that the service does not make them any money, and therefore it's their lowest priority, but they still accept the benefits of customers purchasing their hardware based on the feature set of the service that they are still advertising falsely today.
For those of you who are as frustrated as I am for being taken for a ride by HTC, I suggest using methods such as their Facebook page(s) to press your enquiries. They should not be allowed to get away with it any longer.
