I just get a new job and i need help on picking a new phone. I need a phone that takes good pics and video. the phone has to be fast and have a good mp3 player... a phone that can be on internet when im talking to my friends. and that have a lot of free space. I would like it to be a 4g phone to.. HD video i would love

I have a pay as you go phone... i dont care what kind of carrier
OK, where are you from? If you're from the US, then yes your carrier matters, which is what I and most people here assume if you don't give us much information. None of the carriers in the US are compatible with each other. So if I recommend you the Atrix and you're with Sprint or the Thunderbolt and you're with Tmobile. You're basically screw. So if you want us to help you, please give us some more info :)

The Sprint 4G network does have Richmond, VA listed. So with the Sprint phones you would be able to use that network. You have 3 choices, the HTC EVO 4G, the HTC EVO Shift 4G, and the Samsung Epic 4G. I recently upgraded from my Samsung Moment to the Epic 4G and thus far love it. I have heard tons of good comments about the HTC EVO 4G as well... but I haven't even looked at the HTC EVO Shift 4G yet.

HTC EVO 4G

HTC EVO Shift 4G

Samsung Epic 4G

There is plenty of info on these forums about each handset, as each of them have their own forums, so be sure to research them and see if you find one you like.

For this you would need a phone from T-Mo or ATT or the Thunderbolt from Verizon. The rest of the Verizon and Sprint phone can't do simultaneous voice and data. As far as the other stats, pretty much any high end phone will have you covered. I'd say go to best buy or a cell phone store and play around with some phones and see which one you like the best.

Do anyone have the HTC Inspire

i have the Inspire. and if you're jumping to AT&T the Inspire and the Atrix are pretty good choices. in the end it'll come down to personal preference (im sure you hear that a lot)

Atrix if your a power user, like heavy 3D gaming, and being future proof
Inspire if you like a big screen, watching videos, and some gaming.

as for the OP:
best phones on each carrier IMO would be
Sprint: Evo 4G
Verizon: Thunderbolt/Droid X
T-Mobile: MyTouch 4G/Nexus S
AT&T: HTC Inspire

dylando808 what r the pros and cons for the Inspire

Inspire
Pros:
-Big 4.3 inch display. it may not be Super AMOLED or a Retina display but it gets the job done
-Excellent Build Quality. HTC has outdone themselves with the gorgeous unibody construction of the Inspire
-Fast 1GHZ Snapdragon processor. very speedy& responsive. and because it's the newest version of the processor, battery efficiency is increased
-8MP camera is fantastic. also shoots 720p HD video
-Call quality is pretty good.

Cons:
-Battery Life. depends on usage. Power Users can get maybe 6-8 hours on a single charge. i'm a light to moderate user so i can get about 13-16 hours. but battery life still could be better.
-The battery door on the back is a pain in the butt to remove. if you don't know what your doing it's a possibility you can break or bend the battery cover, and ordering replacement parts is ridiculous.
-HD video capture isn't THAT great. the video is a little grainy.
-no sideloading apps without rooting. probably my biggest con. you can't put third party apps like Swype or the Amazon App store on the Inspire without rooting or using the Sideload Wonder Machine. which is a pain for average users like me because some of us aren't comfortable enough to root our phone just to put an app on.

hope that helps. :)
