Root Clearing data before different GB ROMS?

When I tried installing Drewgarens roms (Lexlite, Zapx) without installing GB first, I got stuck at the boot logo and had to SBF and start over.

I learned my lesson, and installed the pre-rooted GB ROM first, and everything worked. However, I am now switching between ROMS (Lexlite, ZapX, and Blurrybread) and was wondering:

If I clear my data, do I have to reinstall GB first, and then install the ROM? Or can I just install the ROM file (e.g. ZapX ROM file)?

Also, are there themes out for GB yet? Specifically, I'd like Revolution on GB.

wiping data between any rom is good as well as standard , you will not have to reinstall gb first , that is your system version and only an sbf or update zip to another system version can change that, as for themes im not sure , i remain on froyo and dont keep up with gb much
