Root A way to watch Vcast Video on a rooted device?

So I am somewhat (extremely) addicted to the NFL and have signed up to watch the NFL channel on Android via Vcast Video On Demand. Only problem is, I couldn't get it to connect when running the Froshedyo rom, so I went back to stock 2.1. After 2 days running vanilla android, I have to say it's torturous! That painful lag has returned in full force, apps can't go to SD and so on.

So, can I have the best of both worlds? Is there a rom that can run Vcast Video fine?

My error message while on Froshedyo was a simple "Cannot connect".

Thanks for all that you guys do btw, I wouldn't love my android as much as I do without these forums!

I was hoping to not have to try roms one by one, hoping for one to work : /.

Only ROM I've used so far is Froshedyo and it was awesome, just wouldn't connect.

*sigh*

xtrSENSE is close to stock (the only thing that makes it not stock is the fact that it's rooted, doesn't have the Amazon MP3 app, has a different boot animation, and is overclocked.) FroShedYo isn't even close to stock. If it's going to run on anything, it's going to run on that. xtrROM is close enough to stock as well (the only think missing is the Sense launcher and the stock keyboard) that it should also work.

Make a Nandroid backup of what you have now with FroshedYo, install xtrSENSE, and try VCast video right after you get past the initial setup. If it doesn't work, you can Nandroid Restore FroShedYo and you just spent maybe 15 minutes finding out.
