Help Does where my droid app work with the moment

I tried several times and wheres my droid will not work. I put the phone on silent and have someone text me the attention word and it does nothing
Works flawlessly on mine. In fact I paid for the upgrade so that I could assign a wicked ringer in case I need it.
Do you have an app killer running?
OH! a problem that I had with mine initially... make sure your text is exactly like the key phrase.

Ex. There is not an 's in the default phrase. It's "Wheres" not "Where's"

Hope that helps.

i just installed app killer on moment i have 2 message handcent and the regular .i need to stop one of them but dont know how.

i dont know why it not working
The reason I asked about the app killer, is to make sure that you didn't accidentally kill the wheresmydroid app.

Well, lets try to figure this out, when you use your friend's phone to send the text, does your phone receive the text at all?

yes i get the text
Ok, that's good.
-Make sure your attention word is exact. With no punctuation at all.
-Make sure you have the "Ring When Lost" option checked within the app.
-Make sure you have the app running and excluded from your app killer.

If this is all in place and it still fails, try uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it.

ANyone know what the default phrase is for the GPS text? I lost my phone and can't remember what it is but I know I never changed it and I did enable it. My only worry is do you have to enable it every time you update the app or will it keep your setting the same if it was already on?
I think it's:

"wheres my droid gps"

Though I'm not sure what it does... Maybe enables the ability to see it from their website?

IS that exactly the way it is capital letters and all cause they said it has to be exact. Like with a ? and all.

Another thing is does my phone have to be on to send me it's location because my battery was pretty much dead.
It is exactly:
GPS My Droid

Yeah, the phone would have to be on and I'm pretty sure it would need to have GPS enabled... though I'm not sure b/c the text may enable GPS...?

Well I may be beat then because I would bet the phone is off. Thank for you help.
Man... I'm sorry to hear that :(
In case you get another Android, check out a couple apps called 'WaveSecure Mobile' and 'Contact Owner'

I use the trifecta of those two apps (plus Wheres My Droid) in addition to the lock combination to keep my phone as safe as I know how.

-Contact Owner allows you to set contact info and various other stuff (ex. a reward incentive, or in my case, a deterrent notice referencing the Wave Secure features) on the lock screen so that your phone will have a higher likelihood of being returned to you.

-WaveSecure Mobile
(free for a limited time) from a computer allows you to:
