Help How do you get the HTC Calendar to display appointment info?

....on the 7-day view? On my other Android devices it shows each appointment and then a preview or portion of the title of the appointment. For some reason the HTC calendar just shows colored blocks on the times of the day and then you have to click each one individually to see what it's for. This is quite frustrating when most of the time a few words are enough of a reminder to know what to plan for.

Use the HTC calendar widget that views your agenda for the week.

Not really a solution to my problem unless you're saying this isn't possible with the HTC calendar. In which case that's a pretty basic feature that most all other calendars have to overlook.

Have you used the freaking agenda calendar widget from HTC? It does what you are asking for! There is more than one widget for calendars!

That's a lot of hostility for someone who's been here a few days. Thanks for assuming I didn't know there's more than one widget for calendars though. For those who have a problem with reading comprehension... I'M NOT LOOKING FOR A WIDGET. That clear enough? I want to know if there's an option within the stock app when I open it to display the appointment titles like most every other calendar under the sun. A widget doesn't solve my problem. I already have a calendar widget that I like and I don't need two widgets devoted to calendar. What I want to know is if there's just a simple setting I'm missing somewhere because it's seems stupid to me that HTC dropped the ball on this one when every other stock calendar app that I've used displays appointment titles (even if just a few words) in the week view.
