get movies on dhd easy

Hi people after weeks of trying to get movies converted onto my dhd i have found such an easy way and i am now now watching latest movies on my phone now.I have a programme that i stream to my ps3 called VUZE and it now supports android and it converts the films and puts it straight on your sd card.First download VUZE and then once installed download your film or torrents (i just downloaded the fighter 2010 from torrentz.com) and it will download it into vuze library.Mount your dhd to your computer then press device on the vuze screen and add android as a plugin.then drag and drop the film to your phone and hey presto it automatically converts it and saves it too your sd card.hope this helps people

Or you could do what I do and use DVD ripper from Danisoft. Open, go to HTC section and press the Desire key and your video will be ripped and stored ready for putting on your SD card when you sync. Perfect every time

Converts it from what to what? Most videos/films i download from torrents are already in a compatible format.

I use Twonky & iMediaShare to beam from phone to tv.
Is vuze a server app too?

Will vuze &/or danisoft convert drm dvds?
(just looked on the danisoft website, & drm removal is for music only)

I am a real movie buff..
Got a lot of em....
just changed from iPhone4 to HTC Desire HD and wondered myself..
My Movies???? ALL my movies..........

So....

Created a folder of the SD Card Called Movies

Connect the Phone to USB and chose Mass Storage Connection...
Copied a MP4 Movie and a AVI(divX) movie into the folder....
Disconnect the USB
Pressed on MOVIE icon....

Cool....
See both and plays both perfect...

No converting....
no messing about...
just Copy..
Watch....

iPhone4 lagging even more behind NOW

DVD ripper from Danisoft, just pop any DVD into your PC's DVD player. Hit the HTC desire button on the Danisoft software. Dvd will be ripped into a folder of your choice on your PC for you to copy to your Desires SD card when you want. On the Desire access the DVd via Gallery and away you go, simples. Great for long flights on budget airlines.

I had a few problems with AVI files on the DHD, mainly sound syncing.
I used Snowfox converter, coverts files for Android but it uses a lot of resource to convert, slows my machine to a halt and I got a fast machine. The files come out the same size but play perfectly
