Yahoo Mail app

I have a Thunderbolt, and I had to download the Yahoo Mail app to access my ATT e-mail account, as the default "Mail" app won't get into the account. Thing is, I can't seem to figure out how to change Yahoo Mail's settings. I mean, there's a "Settings" page when pressing Menu, but it doesn't have very many settings...

In particular, every time I get an e-mail, it makes my notification LED flash. Also, I can't seem to figure out how to schedule when it syncs/ looks for new e-mails.

I've tried going into my phone's Settings > Accounts & Sync, but it only has options for stock apps in there (or, at the very least, my Yahoo Mail app isn't listed). Otherwise, everything else is already disabled from auto-syncing, and I turned off the notification LED for everything, as well. But Yahoo Mail still makes it blink.

Anyone know how to modify these things for the Yahoo Mail app?

I have a Droid X so I'm not sure if its the same deal but here is what I know for my device. Instead of going into Email, look for a Messaging app preloaded on your phone. There you will find all of your email accounts. Click on Universal Box, hit the menu key and go to Settings. It should have something like Text Messaging, Email, Social Messaging and Emergency Alert Settings. Click on Email and then Email Delivery. I have never used Sync for my email because it works fine the way it is for me but the description on Email Delivery reads, "Control when your device synchronizes your Corporate Sync and email accounts" so that seems like what you need. Also, the same place you found your Universal Inbox (in Messaging), you can click on the Yahoo icon (or any email account you have) to set up separate settings for those too.

I hope this helps!

Ok, so I have Yahoo Mail and use the Yahoo mail app. You can not set the auto sync. It is push mail with the app. Meaning it hits your phone as soon as it comes in. If you delete an email, it deletes it on the web. It's the same as being on the webmail on the computer.

As far the notifications go you get two choices Sound and Vibrate or nothing. I hope this helps.
