One of the funniest apps I've seen is called "Dildroid"

some of the coolest apps I've seen are augmented reality apps such as layer and wikitude. oh and Google skymap.

Some of the coolest games I've used is by the developer polarbit. Most useful would be Google navigation which is really only available in the US at the moment. oh and another cool app would be Google goggles

I've tried finding google goggles twice and it does show up for me in the market. I've got an HTC Eris, is it not compatible with the Eris.

I think Google goggles and some of these other apps you see around the forums are supported for 1.6 + hence some can not find them

Is there a App that makes the qwerty bigger for my hero , I have a hard time texting with my big fingers.

And how about something like voice texting , is there an App that can do that ?? speak into the phone instead of typing the text ??

Consider using Swype (there are a bunch of threads here about it). In my opinion the best keyboard replacement available.

swype only works on DROID or Nexus1 (still in BETA)

^ Yup. I successfully downloaded it and installed it using ASTRO, but it said the screen resolution was wrong, and it wouldn't load.

There is shape writer, it's pretty cool, but only the trial version is in the market right now because of some glitch they are having with google.
