Root Problem with 1.1

I was almost done with installing Icarus and completely forgot I was supposed to upload the .zip file to the sd-card and not the folder structure inside, so I ended up getting to the last step and bam, no go. Now my phone will just sit at the Huawei screen and I can't seem to mount the card to put the .zip file on it.

Not even in recovery can I mount it on my pc.

Any tips? I really hope I don't have a bricked phone...

Did you back up stock? Also a card reader would be helpful.

Yeah I have stock backed up but it doesn't matter if I can't put it on the card itself...

I put my my stock back on after formating the card but best thing to do is get a card reader for a few bucks. Unless you have another phone to just put the zip on.

No idea but it might have something to do with your phone having no os.

I'm sure someone has a harder way to do it but i have a card reader and a drawer full of old cell phones so i never needed a different method, sorry.

Alright. Yeah right now if I can save money and not have to buy a card reader that would be best.

Look at the Bad Zip thread a few threads down, someone had the same problem.
