Root LauncherPro Widgets?

Is there a way to extract the LP widgets to use them in another launcher? I have recently tried MIUI and the thing I like the most about it is the launcher which I don't want to cover up with LP but I would really like the widgets. I have paid for the LP+ version so I have the widgets unlocked but I don't know if there is a way to get them on the stock MIUI launcher.

Launcher Pro widgets are not normal widgets. Changes were made to the Launcher Pro widget framework to make those specific widgets work. Even if you could some "extract" them, they would never work outside of Launcher Pro. It's the same sort of idea as the HTC Sense widgets.

Yeah I figured that, I guess for now I will stick with CM, I don't think I could do without at least two of those widgets and I haven't found anything in the market that rivals them.

Which widgets? I might know of some replacements, depending on which ones.

I really like the calendar and the friend stream one that only shows facebook. I have found a couple of calendar ones but either they don't scroll or don't sync with google.

I want to say pure grid calendar will work like that, but I'm not positive. There's another one like it, but the name escapes me right now. As for the facebook one, I'd have to search the market later. If you're particularly attached to the Launcher Pro ones, specifically, you'll just have to stick with Launcher Pro.

Facebook app has a widget similar

Android agenda can ne set up almost identical to that calendar.

Thanks I'll try both of those out, I don't like the stock facebook app because it only shows one update at a time, I like being able to scroll through the list. Also I just like the calendar to be able to show a month at a time, show days I have stuff going on, and be able to scroll through the months.

You should try Colorize Widgets... They're very similar to LauncherPro Plus widgets. They scroll, and if you google Signals23, you can find some themed LPP Widgets and also Themed Colorized Widgets.

well I saw.. "launcher pro widgets" and had to say something. They suck.. ASOP Roms..(the two I have tried) are FAST but allot of things are not available. So your left to find an alternative. The widgets that come with Launcher.. stink.. and in this since.. lol.. sense Rom's are much better...and any thing you find on the market just is substandard to a sense version.....

I was running MIUI also, but had to put LauncherPro back on to get my Calendar widget back. I loved that thing. I still have everything that is MIUI minus the launcher and how widgets are added on the screen. I can still do MIUI themes, icons, etc.

Launcher Pro has some of the best widgets, I think they are better or on par with Sense.

fUNNY i FOUND THIS THREAD I was serching and serching the market yesterday for a calender widget like the sense stock version(never found one) then I found "simple calender" it has the scrolling and I love it.. then tap it and the whole month pops up.. I will have to keep this in mind if I flash a sense rom cause I like this more then the one I originally started looking for ..woohoo

+1 I use this as well. Good calendar widget for me. It's only 1x4 though.

I'm in the same boat, only using ADW instead of LP. miui is great, but I just don't care for the iphone-y features.
