Root PhotoBucket....wont uninstall

Hello,well my problem is not being able to uninstall PB,i'm rooted and have TB installed and can't for the love of me uninstall PhotoBucket,i've even tried the long press and force uninstall... even says it's uninstalled but remains in my app drawer and will still launch if i press it... any idea on how i can get this off my phone..... running stock 2.1

PHOTOBUCKET was THE 1ST app that I uninstalled AND deleted when I first rooted.{Invasive POS}!
Are you trying to uninstall via SETTINGS>APPLICATIONS>MANAGE APPLICATIONS?
If so,skip it & just go directly to TB to uninstall &/or delete(back-up this app first,if desired).If you have TB PRO,you have the option of FREEZING the app & it will not show up in your app drawer or desktop.
BTW,you can always d/l PHOTOBUCKET from the market at a later date,if desired.Its not as invasive as the factory installed version.

yea i tried uninstall using TB and it shows it crossed out and even says "uninstalled"... but it is still sitting right in my app drawer... lil pest lol

UPDATE:... think it's off... i had it linked to sd.. i think i had to unlink first and then uninstall... whatever happened it worked.. thanks all.

You might not want to try this,but,did you try to DELETE?But,FIRST,if you haven't already,just try re-booting(turn phone off & back on,WHY don't people just say that anymore!LOL)
I had that problem w/an app not going away after un-installing(I believe it was PHOTOBUCKET) & it went away.BTW,I totally deleted PHOTOBUCKET,UNO,& approx. 7-8 other POS bloatware apps,no problems,just don't delete anything GOOGLE related.{See safe to delete list @ front of this forum.}

Glad to hear you're freed of that POS bloatware from your phone.It kept turning itself on & attempting to upload my pix,even BEFORE I'd actually tried to use the app.Don't know exactly what kind of permissions this app had,but,IMHO,way too invasive.At least a Doctor will wear a glove when he holds the 'Family Jewels' & asks you to cough!
