Root Syncing problems on Froyo & DarkSlide 4.2

I am running 2.2.1, 2.3.340, and DarkSlide 4.2 and I have noticed that my Gmail will not stay synced. Today, I went into Accounts and looked and it shows Sync Contacts last synced 3/15/2011, Sync Gmail last synced 4/8/2011, and Sync Calendar 3/15/2011. My notification bar constantly is showing the little blue sync circle on it, but my phone is not syncing. I can manually press Sync and nothing happens.

Anyone got any suggestions on how to force it to sync and remove the constant sync icon from the notification bar?

UPDTAE: My Calendar just update, but not the rest. My phone is not auto syncing, like it should be.

Wipe cache if that does not work, wipe and reset is the only way you can make a backup and do an advanced restore or start over.
