Incredible or Droid X? Seriously

I recently thought I bricked my incredible, so I picked up a used X at a great price. While waiting for the X to arrive, I got the incredible working again. So now I have both and I am not sure which one to go with. I am going to keep one and sell the other. Anybody that has used both, feedback would be great.

I played with my ex-girlfriend's Incredible several times.
I really like having the choice of being able to install files on the internal storage, and the sense weather/clock widget and animations were really cool.

I prefer the screen size of the X, I use beautiful widgets (gives the same animations as sense).

Well, I think size is going to be the deciding factor here. Its all what suits you best. With your situation I would say use both for a couple days and see which is more comfortable in your hands and which operates best under real world conditions, though I think they will both run about the same. However, im pretty sure you're not quite as locked down on the Dinc...

The Droid X is a SUPER phone - big, fast and a lot of fun to have. The Dinc is a nice phone, but it's screen is too small to be practical. Go with the Droid X, but be sure to root it and install a custom rom.

I realize this may seem really weird but stay tuned.

I currently have a DINC. Had a Droid 1 for a while.

Have a really strong nearsighted prescription but have good eyeglasses that correct it...also astigmatism as well.

For some reason the DINC display gives me trouble. It just seems that text, especially in email just seems a little "off" or fuzzy.

For that reason I'm considering a move to the Droid X or the D2. I'm going to visit a store tomorrow and play around and see how they look. It seemed like I didn't have this issue with the D1.

I know it sounds crazy. Anyone else have this issue with the DINC?

I'd say it depends on how you use your phone. There are days I wish my phone was as conveniently small as my girlfriend's Dinc. The DX isn't that bad in my pockets, but it is still noticeably larger. I chose the DX over the Dinc when we got ours for one major reason. Docking options. I'm a big fan of automatic solutions like the desktop and car docks. The Dinc battery is an issue, but we recently upgraded her to a 1800 mAH EVO battery and she has not been charging nearly as much as she used to. Though, she has still run out of batteries, it occurred as she somehow fell asleep with the phone in hand and was inadvertently keeping the screen on.

DInc owner here. Love the phone, but I've always wanted a bigger screen. Battery life isn't great either, but manageable. The TBolt looks nice, but I'm not willing to pay the cash while still under contract, and the 4G battery killer turns me off.

Soooo, I'm looking to buy a gently used X on eBay, and sell off my DInc. The cost should be minimal, at least compared to buying a new phone. However, I've really enjoyed Sense, or at least the custom ROMs that use Sense (Sky Raider). Are there any X ROMs that emulate Sense?

Droid X for 9 months. Droid Incredible for about 2 months. Both phones have their pluses and minuses. The radio and battery are better on the X from my experience in limited signal areas. I like the big screen on the X to LOOK at, but carrying it kind of blows when compared to the compactness of the Dinc. I love sense and the sense widgets are still second to none IMHO. I also prefer the soft buttons instead of physical ones. Others are the opposite of me... I sold my X recently to spend time with my Dinc rooting an ROM-ing...

Really, it's going to come down to personal taste. I'm currently running CM7 nightly #54 on my Dinc and I love the flexibility...

When we started with VZW in Feb, we all got DIncs. Four of them. Having come from Sprint Heros, and then Evo 4Gs, we really liked Sense. After a week or two, 3 of us decided independently that the reception and call sound quality were poor on the DInc. Research told us the DX would a better choice, so we gave up Sense for Blur...on the DX, (LPP helps, but still not as good as Sense, IMHO) The DX's have proved to be the better choice when call quality and reception are important. Hoping the highly regarded Gingerbread with the new Blur will come close to the Sense experience. Steven seems to think so...:D
