Portal 2

I definately recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the first one. Yeah it's not the longest game, but it's still tons of fun. Co-op is awesome, there's tons of clever ways to solve each puzzle. Single player continues the story, Glados is still as hilarious as always. The puzzles all are overall much harder than Portal 1. A must buy in my books.

I will say get a friend that you know is good at Portal for Co-Op though. I can easily see it getting super frustrating with a bad partner. And by seeing the gameplays on YouTube, there are A LOT of horrendous Portal players.

I finished co-op with a friend in about ~5-6 hours somewhere in that time frame. We were both pretty good at Portal and even then it got a little frustrating towards the end. It'd be a nightmare with a random who sucks.

Loving the Cave Johnston stuff, he's almost as awesome as GLaDOS! And I'm no too concerned about the game being short, it's one of those games that's still fun when you replay. I think I've beaten the first one 4 times. Portal was the only reason I even bought Orange Box. Played it and a little HL2, haven't touched the other 3 games on there. I should do the HL games at least....

Once you go through HL2, you'll see where some of the inspiration for the Condemned test chambers comes from (Ambience, and what not)... You should play at least HL2.

if you play HL2:EP2; you'll have a pleasant surprise as well once you see what Mossman was trying to keep the combine from discovering ;)

If anyone needs a partner for PC Co-Op let me know. I've finished it, some worlds multiple times. I'd be glad to keep my mouth shut and let you figure it out, or give you hints, or even run you through.

There's an achievement for playing the first tutorial with someone who hasn't played co-op yet, that's all I'm looking to get out of it but will be willing to play through more of it if you want.

I hadn't ever played Portal until 4 days ago, and now I'm addicted. I'd read the rave reviews for P2, and remembered that I bought a bundle pack a while back on Steam that included Portal. I broke that out and played it and was left wanting more. The campaign for P1 only took me 2 hours, and the advanced maps and challenges only a couple more hours. Now I've got Portal 2 downloading through Steam.. The wait is murder, and the cake is a lie!

But the awesome is true! If you liked Portal, you'll love Portal 2! Good that you just played P1, it's all fresh in your mind. I replayed it myself the weekend before I bought P2 just to get it all fresh again, great games!

Yea I got Portal 2 for the 360. I almost finished it in a day. To me 1 was harder. Maybe because finishing 1 didnt make 2 too hard or its just easier, I dont know.

I also feel they coulda left Portal 2 as an Xbox Live game. Now I wonder if Shadow Complex will be a disc game for the next version. Thats another game I can finish and keep playing over n over n over....
