I recently updated to Serendipity 6.4 and Paragon kernel. I am loving the combination.

However, now I am having a problem with the desktop dock. None of the alarm applications work when the phone is plugged into the desktop dock. The alarms go off but none of the applications can make the phone ringer to come up. I have looked everywhere and cannot find any setting to prevent this.

I know this might be a strange question, but if anybody has a clue I would appreciate some insight.

thanks.

I'm not sure, but I will say, I absolutely despise that desktop clock app that takes over when I plug the phone into my desktop dock. I haven't heard of anyone else describing the problems you've had, though, and I follow all things Serendipity pretty closely. Are you saying the phone won't ring when it's docked? Because mine works fine, if I answer it while docked it is automatically set to speakerphone, also. I haven't noticed anything not working.

Correct. The alarms do not ring. When I restored the applications after my Serendipity load, I did not load the Desk Home App. I am thinking that maybe I needed to install the Desk Home application (which I hate too) and maybe that will fix it.

I will give it another try tonight.

Thanks.
