Help SD card Apps and Going back to 2.1

Hello,

Like so many, my Milestone, after updating to 2.2.1, has become slow and unresponsive. I have tried many of the solutions in this forum, with limited success. I am wondering if I were to go back to Android 2.1, would my apps that have been moved to the SD card still be accessible?

You'd better flash some custom ROM. They run better than the official one.
If you flash CM6 for example over your current ROM you will not lose any of your apps. Don't know about the other though.

They wil not. 2.1 does not even support apps on SD.
Right.

But we have some apps with installers. Those apps register a copy of the .apk archive on the SD card, wich you can recover even after any reset.

My peferred is System Panel Pro, which includes the installer-unisnstaller.

Also, the Android system itself has the ability of recover almost all the Apps, through the Market. Once you have resetted, you must go to "Market>Dowloads", and the apps you have dowloaded are listed... Make sure you are on a wi-fi connection!! The amount of data can be massive!

I know all those things because I've the same problem than CeramamMatt!
It's impossible to hold an animated wallpaper now! B...s..it!

I want also go back to 2.1.1!!:D

I have one issue with Market and I use WiFi to download apps from Market. It uses to work flawlessly. But now, when I download app, it just stuck in the download page for a long long time and saying that "start downloading ....". The app is never gotten downloaded. I have to cancel or stop the downloading from time to time.

I can browse Market and Internet, just could not download. Any comments is appreciated.

Thanks,
