Holy crap! I just finished flashing and it's a world of difference at how fast it moves now! That alone makes it worth the few minutes of work it took to do it. If you ever end up in San Diego, Numus, (or any of the other contributors) I'm buying you (or them) a beer or three.

for data and voice simutaneously you need EVDO RevB, which we, nor Sprint supports. However, with 4G growing, and new devices being hybrid 3G/4G, we don't need to worry about this, because 4G will support doing both, and 4G will be hella faster.

Yeah, now what AT&T? Oh wait you only attack Verizon because you know you can't touch Sprint.

Great work Zefie, Numus & crew. I am curious, will you have the ability to adjust the timeout of the keyboard light soon? That, plus GPS issue and Battery are my top 3 complaints, but still loving the phone natively too. Hoping Samsung/Sprint kinda see what's going on and expedite a non voided warranty correction for us common folk ...

That's the correct one, I just wish I had faster internet speeds with Sprint's network here 300 down and 100 up is way too slow.

Using the Speedtest.net app, it's my area, even my Touch Pro is reporting horrible speeds, what's weird is that I'm about a 1/2 mile away from a local Sprint Store and even at the store the devices and the data card demo they have hooked up to a laptop is reporting slow speeds as well. So I'm guessing something is really messed up with the local towers here.

Could just install using appmanager or astro or some similar program.

tried both astro and app manager both said could not install.

I think you need to be a superuser in order to have access to that directory, not sure how to do that though :/

Indeed you need to be a superuser to access cd system/app. you do that one of two ways. using a program called connectbot, or using developer tools in the android sdk. head on over here, make an account, look in the guide section. SDX-Developers - Index
