I am using HTC magic with Rogers in Canada, Kindly let me know how can I resolve the following issues

1. I have added song clips as Mp3 on my SD card and I want to use them as Ringtones, How it can be done.

2 I have some favourite call no's which I dial frequently. Is it possible to assign single digit no like ,1 2 and 3... to different tel Nos in phone book so that I can simply press single digit to dial the assigned no. If it is possiblem then let me know how.

1. Open up the Music app, open the songs folder, and long-press the song you want to use as a ringtone. It'll give you that option.

2. No, there's no speed dial in Android, a Direct Dial shortcut is as close as you can get. Long-press on the home screen, select shortcut> Direct Dial, and pick the number you want.

To add new ringtones, connect your phone to USB and mount the device on your PC. Browse to the following folders:

/sdcard/media/audio/ringtones
/sdcard/media/audio/notifications

Copy your mp3 files into either of the folders above. Then go to:

Settings > sound and display > phone ringtone
(Or the appropriate menu on your phone)

Then select the ringtone you put in the above folder(s).
