Now don't get me wrong: I'm neither a fangirl or a hater, but here's my issue:

I got my hands on the Thunderbolt. Call it an impulse upgrade. I do love its speed and (with the extended battery) the battery life. However, the battery and its size make it heavy as hell, and I'm starting to get kind of tired of the weight. It's BEASTLY.

I had a Dinc1, and LOVED IT. Should I, since I'm still in my 14 days, lose the Bolt and get with the Dinc2?

I mostly use the phone on 3G anyhow, we're not a 4G area yet, and even then, Wifi is a big part of my day.

This line right here answers your question. That and having to attach an extended battery just to get good battery life. Dinc2 on 3G is solid as hell. If you're on wifi most of the time your battery consumption will be even better.

Like i've mentioned in a few other threads, 4G isn't fully baked yet. I'm giving it a year before I consider jumping. (not to mention the Droid Charge release was delayed because 4G was still down as of this morning).

Play with the Dinc2 as soon as possible. You're gonna love it.

(I also came from a Dinc1)

I'm about to wipe my Tbolt and go take it back. HOORAY FOR AWESOME FUN TIMES WITH DINC!

Besides the brilliant, but battery sucking display, the TB is something only stubborn fanboy/girls would love (or folks beyond the 14 day window and are stuck with it) ;)

Unless the smaller size is important, I still say the LG Revolution is the best bet due to IPS display, better video support, HDMI, 16gb internal storage and Netflix built in (no Blockbuster bloatware).

Joking about the TB, but fanfolks that tout insane long battery life are just that- insane.

I'm curious... did anyone at the vzw store try and convince you not to return your t-bolt? I could imagine someone saying "well, we've fixed the 4G problem. Why would you want to go back to a 3G phone?"

Surprisingly, no. They were pretty cool about it, even agreed that it was a hefty mofo with the extended battery in it.
