Ordered one online through our B2B account. Got a notice an hour later that my order was cancelled, that the phone was unavailable. So I called in, spent a while on the phone with a rep who tried to place the order... and she couldn't either. The phone has been delayed, according to her, and no reason given.

I read that the Droid Charge was delayed, but haven't seen anything about the DInc2. Anybody else have luck placing an order, or buying one at retail?

thats very weird. i just placed my order and so far everything has turned out great. i did the order through my "my verizon" account. i got the confirmation email and everything. ill let you know if i get any other news.

Just left vzw store and Rep stated pricing was messed up in their system and he couldn't verify pricing. Vzw system must be down. Oh well I heard 4G is in fact coming to my area next year think I will hold off on buying the inc2 anyways....

I bought one from my local VZW store this a.m. I ended up getting some discounts on my bill because the SKU wasn't in their system yet. So, it took over an hour for it to show up so they could finally sell it to me. haha

I love it! It was the perfect upgrade from my original DInc.

I had this pre-arrainged with verizon customer service days ago because it's an early upgrade.
But they couln't take pre-orders so. The verizon rep was goping to call me bright and early today.
Well I couldn't wait. So I start calling at 7. I'm told it isn't in the system.
I got on the verizon website and there it was.
So I call a second service center and told another story. Then a third and by this time they are telling me no, no, no.
Long story short, that verizon rep called me and we placed the order.
They wanted to ship standard 2 day which meant I wouldn't get it till Monday.
I paid for overnight shipping.
It should be here by 3 tomorrow.
But what a fight and a hassel.
It ended costing me $199 plus tax. and shipping, came to about $250 total.

I saw it at verizonwireless.com last night at 12:20 in the morning here in NY and got hear excited, and went to the mall this morning at 9am, and it didnt open til 10!, so I went home for an hour and when it opened there it was on the floor, and I had to sign my name in and it took like 25 min and the lady is like oh is it on the floor let me ask my manager if it's here, so I'm thinkin oh great, but then she comes out big smile and there she was, bought it with the gel case and I LOVE it, I can only hope unrevoked does their thing or we at least get S-OFF and a way back to S-ON,!!!! ya baby $199.99 pluss tax, then 19.99$ for the case. well worth it.. on my brother upgrade line I bought off him for $30 lol. and my upgrade is in April 2012 so I can't wait to see what will be goin on then!

I bought one this morning and am loving it so far. It is exactly what I've been waiting for. I'm coming from an iPhone 4 on AT&T.

I'm disappointed they didn't have the battery cover for wireless charging. They had the pads, but not the covers. They couldn't even tell me if/when they'll be available.

Yep, got one too. COMPLETELY different phone than the origional. I can actually hear people perfectly on this one! My call quality stunk on the origional. Now to load it up and see how it behaves.

you have to click the top of the weather app to add an alarm, I don't see a"clock" app in the app drawers like on my inc1.. am I the only one? am I missing something? we need root!, I hate all these VZM apps

So one of us got screwed. I ordered mine this morning and the lady said for the free overnight shipping that its supposed to have-just click on the standard 2-day and that it will be there tomorrow...not monday. Hopefully you didn't get screwed and hopefully she was right on my part.

I honestly don't know. They did have to fit a global radio into the phone so physically there's less space for storage, but the physical space that an internal memory chip takes up is very small regardless of whether it's 1GB or 8GB.

There's a reason for the compromise... just not sure what that could be.

I don't get it, I called Vz and they told me that the internal hard memory was 4g. But it might be a bit less, I guess with the os etc.
