Widget Locker Themes for the DX

Question for those of you using Widget Locker...I was thinking about picking this up off the market, but the latest reviews for it says that it is a big battery drainer. So, I'm curious what your experience has been with it.

I'm a bit embarrassed to admit it, but I've had the phone since day one and am just now getting around to tinkering with it just a bit. I put LP+ on last week with Beautiful Widgets and WOW what a difference. Read through Airmaxx's step by steps on how to import/download icons and replace them on the phone last night. So, next logical step for me seems to be the lock screen which I'm not a fan of now. Maybe by the time my contract comes up for renewal I'll be ready to start thinking about rooting! lol

Hi, can someone help me, please? I downloaded llike 5 themes directly on my phone, but they're not listed when I choose Custom Slider. I Rebooted my phone thinking they would show then, but still nothing. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks!

You got them from XDA, right? You have to move them from the folder they go to (on mine, and probably most, the default is the Download folder on your sd card) and then put move them to: data>com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker>themes

Little to no battery drain and I've been using it since I got the phone in June. I'll bet these comments come from people who are constantly changing their lockscreen backgrounds, settings, slider themes, etc and all they see is that WL is taking up x% of their battery usage. If you have it set up as you like, and use it normally, it doesn't drain the battery. Everyone forgets they were playing with it for an hour and then yell, "It kills the battery! Bad app!!" Get real, people!

Haha, a little hysteria goes a long way. Thx for the quick feedback!

I have one question about Widgetlocker - I've just bought it, really like it but on the stock lock themes that come with the app it seems they all have this transparent grey square at the bottom of the lock screen, it still remains when I remove any and all widgets/slides - I am running LPP and the .588 build of GB. I've looked at all the options that I know of and I can't seem to get rid of it. I do plan on getting a theme from XDA but haven't yet.

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I'm also rooted via Z4 if that makes a difference

In the options not sure which one. It says something about the grid. Just drag it down to you can't see it. I had trouble figuring the options. It has an ok tutorial doesn't mention everything but check out that. If your rooted the use the root helper helps get rid of them lag or ever seeing your own lockscreen. Options are great but sometimes for me it gets hard to decide which so I try them all.

I finally got around to theming Widget Locker last night. I also took the minimal, WP7 looking one along with some complementary widgets. It fits in quite well with the ADW theme called Android Phone 7 (or something to that effect), so the home and lock screens are themed in sync. Thanks for pointing it out OP!
