Help while on call, my cheek hangs up, mutes etc

Other than manually locking phone, how do i prevent my cheek from manually hanging up on callers , it presses the "End Call" button, or the Mute button...

Sounds like your proximity sensor may be bad. If your on a call and the phone is close to your face, the screen should go dark and not accept input.

I used to have that happen sometimes. Proximity sensor could be just fine. Holding the phone at a slightly different angle could make the phone think it's been pulled away from your face and light up the screen.

Try widgetlocker, it can show the lockscreen during calls. Sometimes it's a bit cumbersome to unlock the device during these calls, but I think it's worth it (with what it prevents).

I noticed the same thing in phone calls. If I adjust the way I hold the phone on my ear the screen will go off. Its mainly the fact that the speaker grill is so wide

mine does it too, its like my biggest gripe about the phone. I will have to try widget locker.

Mine does this as well. I've found it's simply the way the phone is positioned. So now when I talk on the phone I just hold it at a slightly different angle so that my ear is actually covering the proximity sensor. No biggie anymore.
