htc incredible s now receiving 2.3.3 updates OTA since one hour.
S Incredible HTC: Android released the update to 2.3.3 Gingerbread | Android Gingerbread

Doesn't seem to be true. It leads to a dubious web-site and no other source of information on the Internet points to such an update.

It is only available in Italy for now apparently.

Actually it's ture, some countries ahd recieve the OTA notification include Australia.

If your phone is S-Off you can root it and flash a Ginerbread rom to your phone. There appears to be Gingerbread roms floating around but I'm not sure if anybody received it by OTA. I think the people that have Gingerbread on the Incredible S are using leaked roms they flashed to their phone.

I heard someone had updated to 2.3.3 with Golden Card. His phone is S-on sale in HK, but he update to Australia version.

I updated my Incredible S to 2.3.3 Gingerbread. My phone is S-off. I rooted it and flashed the rom with my PC. It's a Australia version.
