Hi, My name is Sky and I just bought my first Android phone, the Incredible 2. LOVING it so far… however I have a few things I am stumped on that I was hoping someone could help me with. They are probably really stupid little things, but frustrating me..
First I accidentally deleted the sound or phone “profile” icon; the icon that toggles between normal/vibrate/silent. I wanted to move it to a different home screen and thought I could do it by deleting it and pulling it back up on the screen I wanted, (I have since figured out I can drag from home screen to home screen -duh).. The problem is I cannot find that icon again anywhere. It is on the settings page, but it won’t shortcut to the home page. I know I can toggle with the volume button on side of phone, however, I like the visual of what “mode” it is in.
(Forgive me if I am not using the right buzzwords… I sincerely want to become a droid snob… but it takes time to learn the lingo.. LOL
Another issue I have is with my mail. I have my Google account which I use a lot and set up fine and then set up my ISP e-mail account, which worked fine too, however I have my mail program on my Mac also check my Google and I was just getting double mail, so I deleted the ISP account off the droid. No problem.. or so I thought.. I am still, off and on, getting double mail and crazy as all things, not getting ANY g-mail on my Mac anymore.. LOL aaaaaa I have triple checked the setting in Mail and they were not changed. Is it possible that once it downloads to the android, it doesn’t go anywhere else? Is this question making any sense?
And Lastly, at least for now.. I can’t figure out how you delete old sms messages… the threads are getting real long..
Thanks in advance for any help… I am sure I will have more questions.. but for now.. these are driving me a bit nuts and I am sure there are very simple answers I just can’t find being new to Droid (and being a Mac person –ex PC)
Have a great day!

As suggested, to the Mods.. if there is a better place for this... I would appreciate you moving it.
