I had gingervillian installed and went to update using rom manager to cynanogen 7 and it seemed to go fine but when it rebooted i could get a network signal. Now it appears i cant access my sd card as it cant mount it. I have tried another sd card andthe exact same problem. If i try to connect it to a pc using a usb lead it say error installing usb driver and doesnt appear as an android device under device manager.

I can boot into recovery mode where it now says the below(which i thought i turned off when installing gingervillian)

Bravo PVT4 SHIP S-ON

I have tried to fastboot but it gets stuck on waiting device. I have installed the android bootloader interface and it appears ok in device manager when fastboot usb is connected.

I cant get any firther as I cant get past this waiting device when trying to use the command to remount sd.

Please help thanks and if you are going to direct me to another thread can you be kind enough to direct me to the post number

Thanks for the replies.

Looks like i will have to go down the RUU method as it does recognise the usb connected and changes to fastboot usb.

Tried to use fastboot oem enableqxdm 0 but that is where is just sits waiting on devie, which appears to be a driver issue but cant get the correct drivers installed for it to work.

cheers

can you not access recovery via fastboot (scroll down to recovery and click power) then push the files to the device as described

EDIT:
you are supposed to put those files on sdcard via a sdcard reader
then use that command and boot the device as normal
download a terminal emulator move the files to data (as shown in bold on the guide)
once completed you can use
/data/flash_image misc /data/mtd0.img

as stated its long but if you dont want to lose everything its the way to fix it
RUU will wipe all but the sdcard
