Root MS690ZV3_36.scr

I'm having no luck finding this file, as it seems Andyo70 has deleted every Mediafire link pertaining to rooting 2.2.1.

Does anyone have this file and would like to upload/link it to me?

andyo70 never had any files pertaining to rooting any phone that's either on 2.2.1 stock or upgraded to 2.2.1.

The only files andyo70 made available we're strictly for downgrading a phone that came with 2.2 stock and was accidentally upgraded to 2.2.1, back to stock 2.2. No rooting methods applied.

andyo70 got tired of people still doing it all wrong and now no one will do it unless someone else other than andyo70 wants to deal with the same stupid questions that andyo70 was inundated with on a daily basis.

andyo70 does not pay much attention to this site or any other android site much anymore.

But I still thank Andyo70 for saving my phone back a couple of months ago. Hope you are doing well!

I'm not as active over here either. Still got 2.2, and still rooted and all bloatware removed that I wanted. Just using my phone.

I've not gone to any of the 2.2.1 ROMs.

I'm keeping this phone until I upgrade to an LTE Android probably later this year -- but until there's a good Gingerbread (2.3) ROM for our Optimus, there's not much else I really want to do.

I still get the daily updates via email and I read through them, but I'm not posting a dozen times a day. :p

======

I got a little tired of the multiple "I used Z4 root and then I went in and deleted every apk I could find to remove bloatware and now my phone doesn't work. Why? Please help."

if you read the end of the rooting 2.2.1 post it will tell you how to get service back.

Thanks. I used his method and now my optimus m screen is blank I figured it was because I was missing the file. My phone responds I can push the volume buttons and I can hear the beeping while turning it up and it vibrates when turned all the way down I just can't see anything. Is there a fix for this or am I just screwed.

andyo's method is to return the phone to android version 2.2, if your phone came with 2.2.1 originally lg changed a key thing to keep you from being able to downgrade, you will need to upgrade with the upgrade tool back to 2.2.1
If you had already installed joneidy's custom recovery you can go into recovery hold the home, vol down, and power buttons till recovery comes up and from there flash a 2.2.1 rom.
