Samsung Galaxy S2 Gets FCC with AT&T Bands

As good as this phone is ATT is a Nazi of a carrier.

if I can only use 2 GBs of data on a phone of this caliber it is not worth it.

In my opinion this is bad news cause it means the phone could be delayed getting to other carriers cause ATT paid for a 3 month exclusivity etc.

Same thing with the Atrix. Sales sucked for it cause ATT is a tyrant

Not saying this is what happened but was this phone mistakenly known as the SGSII because of the Infuse 4G today or were there two different stories?

No the infuse 4G is separate. The SGS2 did pass the FCC with ATT bands BUT this was obvious since the early releases of the SGS2 in the UK have had ATT bands since this phone was revealed at MWC.

Anyone who wants this phone on ATT can just import it from the UK now anyways...lucky bastards.

I am hoping that they at least release the 32 GB and 16 GB versions at the same time in the US when they do...I do not want to have to wait around for the 32 GB version :(

Oh, okay. Me personally if I was an AT&T customer I would port the original one but that would cost a lot. Also, even though I am not an AT&T customer, just knowing it came through for them makes it sound good for the US period. I hope Sammy doesn't follow up to slow for Sprint, and other carriers
