Help What else can I delete on my Desire to clear more of the internal memory?

I have had the phone for a while now and recently it has kept on giving me the dreaded low internal memory notification. I have reduced the size of my contacts to just over 3mb, moved every app I can to the sd card, deleted apps which used up quite a bit of internal memory and i'm still getting the same annoying notification.

I just wondered if there is anything else I could do? I must be missing something as I can't see how the small number of apps I have on my phone memory are taking up the majority of space.

I have a 16gb memory card for the phone so I can assure you that there is still space left on that!

Any help is appreciated!!

Long term solution root your phone and install a custom rom that supports appsd+ and partition your sd card. I know it may seem like a big step but its worth it in the long run. I was in your shoes the first 3 months I had the desire. Then I finally decided to root and ultimately installed a stock custom rom is almost identical main difference is that it supports appsd+.

Can you recommend any good guides online?
Do you have any tips?

Removing apps that have been moved to SD helps. Any of these apps if you look at the size of them, this is how much is on the phone not the SD card. When you move to SD it doesn't move the whole app. Look in "manage applications" with all of the apps, SD or otherwise the size of it shown is how much is on the phone memory.

So, any unused apps that are on the SD card that you think can just be left on there as they are on the card memory can be removed to save sometimes a fair bit of phone memory.
