Pandora keeps stopping...

Why does Pandora keep stopping after each song after the screen goes blank?

Is there a way to keep it running? There's very little in the "settings" for the app itself... I think it's doing it when I exit away from the app (with it running in background)... I dunno... maybe just a wonky connection issue (I'm using WiFi though..... although we have a conference at our office with lots of wifi traffic today)....

and of course, we all know how everything runs perfect on your Droid...

For the most part yeah, because the 2.0.x SDK has been out for a while and developers have pretty much updated all their apps to it. So yeah, pretty much. Now that the 2.1 SDK has been released, I expect developers to rush to update their apps to work on that. Please, man, don't do what you're doing. This isn't a DROID vs. N1 thing. The issue might be an app functionality built on 2.0.x SDK perhaps not working properly on 2.1. Just requires an update. So be patient.

when i use Pandora over 3G... smooth and seemless... when over WiFi - it will stop randomly after some songs (not in middle of songs)... i wonder if the adds are causing some clogs... since my wifi experience is at my work - fast connection, but might some sort of proxy that chokes on some of the ads???

anyways... it's not a huge deal....

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I've noticed the same thing. When I'm connected to edge or 3g I can lock the phone, put it in my pocket and listen to music for hours... but if I lock the phone when it's on a wi-fi network, it will finish playing the song it's on and just stop until I unlock the phone. Probably something that can be worked out with an update I hope.
