How do you create themes? Is there a program to use?

Basically to crete themes, you take the res folder out of various .apks (framework-res.apk, ThinkDroid.apk, etc), and modify/replace the various .pngs you find in there, and also modifying the XML codes to chantge things, such as text color and such. It doesn't necessarily take any extra programs, but I mysef have found renameMasher and 7-zip to be extremely helpful. Hope i answered your question! =D

Umm you need gimp or photoshop as well. and must know how to edit .9.png files.

so breaking out Fireworks and changing the files or creating new ones then editing the xml to find the files and size is all there is to it? I think i might be able to do that.

Yeah its not hard. Use a model off xda. or ill edit this post later with information.
