gps wont stop

so I factory reset my phone cause I wanted there to be no issues when I do root stuff (I am weird). its basic 2.0.1 totally fresh, gmail isnt pushing right now but I think others are having the same issue so idk. What is bugging me is that I installed the milestone browser on my droid and when I rebooted my gps icon would not stop flashing. I had turned off use gps to get my location so the browser doesnt try to do that but gps is still on, and I am using no other apps. anyone have this issue??

No, i am not having this issue. however, it sounds like you should try uninstalling the milestone app or whatever is screwing up the gps

I did a factory reset and so far the gps isnt acting up, mileston browser is still the regular browser after factory reset too. I am crossing my fingers. If anything changes tonight I will post it

Currently I'm running 2.1 with ALL the goodies installed (i.e. multi-touch everything, etc...) and I'm not having any issues. Brightness works, GPS, Gmail is pushing, SMS is great, no FCs or reboots.

lucky you lol. when I flashed to 2.1 my gmail wouldnt push. all I really wanted was the 2.1 launcher any who.
