You'll need to install pc drivers into your computer that are specific to your phone.

Are you trying to put something on the SD card? I am not that techie, but to access my phone's memory I have to go into setting>sd card & phone storage>turn mass storage on

Details would help us help you. What, exactly, are you attempting to do? Mount and access the SD card on your PC? Sync? Something else?

If you're trying to access the SD card, don't forget that you need to mount it. Once you've connected the USB cable you should have a notification. Pull down the notification bar and choose to mount the card. You can't see the card on your PC until it's mounted.
