Root Root attempt failed, Help!

So, I attempted to root my phone using Rootd0wn's instructions. I should have stopped when certain files would not load onto my phone, but I figured I'd gone this far, let's see if I can't go the whole 9 and make this work. Sadly I could not, apparently, and now I don't have my usual service on my phone. Internet works, skype works, I haven't tried downloading any apps, but I can't make normal calls. Would a factory reset bring my service back or do I have to take it to a dealer and explain that I was attempting to break their service and possibly be fined/have to buy a new phone? Oh what a world what a world.

any and all advice on this matter would be VERY helpful and greatly appreciated!
